Tuesday Prayer Nite

Well here in our house hold Tuesday nite is Prayer nite. Not a specific time just before everyone goes to bed we all gather together in the living room & pray our individual pray to god. My step- dad goes first then my sister then me then my mom which is a very long prayer that last from one hour to two depending see she didn't use to be like that it was my grandmother who was the long prayer but when she died her mantle fell on my mom & oh did it fall. She agrees with all our prayers prays for all of us then continues to pray for the whole world which sometimes I'm like really why can't you do that inyour private prayer time but oh well. I love our family prayer time & me being who I am go boldly before the throne just being me sometimes silly other times serious because why be a fake god knows you so I say talk to him have a conversation That's what I do I thank him for whatever is on my mind then add other things like I said he know me & I go humble just as I am. I can't wait to have my own family continue this little tradition. It's a wonderful thing find out some surprising things sometimes but the coming togetherness of family is nothing like it. If you don't do family prayer nite I highly recommend it.
